I have never stayed there, too expensive for us locals, but the beach is wonderful. If you are an earlybird, the sunrise is spectacular, out of this world. Only problem I forsee is the time of year you'll be there. It's winter and depending on your luck, if it is cloudy even for a few minutes, then you miss the myriad of colours in the sky. In any case, it is something you should experience at least once in your lifetime. Read Rimbaud's poem on colours and its effects on your senses.
