| « A registrar takes her employer to a tribunal to determine whether she can refuse to officiate at homosexual “weddings” because of her religious beliefs », Daily Telegraph, 18th May 2008. Registrar Lillian Ladele of the Islington Council in London has refused to preside over homosexual weddings, and she has been warned that she could lose her job unless she changes her mind. Miss Ladele has taken the council to a tribunal claiming « discrimination or victimisation on grounds of religion or belief ». Miss Ladele has been working for the Council since 1992. The Civil Partnership Act was introduced in 2004 giving same-sex couples the same rights as married couples. She feels she should be given exemption, and says « I feel strongly about maintaining my Christian beliefs and conscience ». While the Bishop of Winchester, Rev. Michael Scott-Joynt is for the upholding of objections on the grounds of conscience, Ben Summerskill of Stonewall, the homosexual rights group, said « Doctors and nurses can’t choose who they treat, and nor should a registrar be allowed to discriminate » when there is no connection between the two. What the Holy Bible says « You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. » (Leviticus 18:22 ) « So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other's bodies. » (Romans 1:24) « That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. (Romans 1:26 ) « And the men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved. » (Romans 1:27) « When they refused to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done. » (Romans 1.2 [Note 1] « They are fully aware of God's death penalty for those who do these things, yet they go right ahead and do them anyway. And, worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. » (Romans 1:32) Other Holy Scriptures also concur with the Holy Bible on the subject of homosexuality. Homophobia and AIDS In the name of secularism, the separation of the Church from the State, the practice of homosexuality is accepted. Many countries have even passed laws to recognise the rights of homosexuals, for example, rights to marry like in the case of heterosexuals, and even rights to adopt children. However, numerous other countries resist such temptations. AIDS is the by-product of male homosexuality. The first recognised cases of AIDS occurred in New York and California in the early 1980’s among male homosexuals, and the virus is highly contagious. This is how it has spread so fast. Homophiles have seized this opportunity to make a case for introducing homosexual education under the cover of sex education in schools for the ‘benefit’ of under-aged children when biology is already taught. One direct effect of such ‘education’ is that children are being groomed to become homosexuals. Whenever people try to object to or denounce such practices, which many regard as evil and unnatural, even as a mental disease, their views are either suppressed or they are accused of ‘homophobia’, meaning « fear and hatred of homosexuality ». With extensive media support, this strategy is constantly adopted to suppress and censor people’s views and wishes. Even Dr Robert L. Spitzer, a secular-humanist atheist and Colombia University psychiatrist who led the removal of homosexuality from the psychiatric manual in 1973, bowed to the findings of science. His study published in the Archives of Sexual Behaviour showed that « 66% of men and 44% of women who had participated in therapy to change their homosexual orientation had arrived at what he called “good heterosexual functioning” ». [Ref. « A Slippery Slope that Limits the Atonement » by A. Dean Byrd, Ph.D., MBA, MPH; Shirley E. Cox, DSW, LCSW; and Jeffrey W. Robinson, Ph.D.] Sexual intercourse By definition, sexual intercourse takes place between heterosexuals. Intercourse between males is not considered as truly ‘sexual’. This is why the Holy Bible regards homosexual practice as an « abomination », as a vice, as evil and as a sin. However, the term has been manipulated to mean the « erotic preference for partners of the same sex » in order to make it more ‘acceptable’ and impose it on others. Even the word « gay » has been hijacked to mean homosexual. But « erotic preference » may also mean erotic preference for the dead (necrophilia), for animals (zoophilia) or for a child (paedophilia). In the Netherlands, a political party, the Freedom and Diversity Party (PNVD), in favour of paedophilia has even been declared lawful by a Dutch court. This is a country where children are openly groomed by paedophiles, commonly called predators. A transvestite is often a homosexual (who can also be a heterosexual) who prefers clothing of the opposite sex. On the other hand, a transsexual « is a person who feels trapped in the body of the wrong sex » and seeks surgery for a sex change and does not normally display the psychological make-up of a homosexual because, after the sex change, the attraction tends to be for the opposite sex. Making a case for the rights of homosexuals would also include the rights of transvestites and transsexuals. Conclusion What people do between their sheets in their homes, and what they wish to teach their children in their homes is entirely up to them as long as they do not break the law. One is free to be a homophile, but one cannot impose on others one’s ‘orientation’ towards the same sex. Criticising this method does not amount to ‘homophobia’. What we are witnessing in schools and in the media across Europe is an advertising campaign in favour of homosexuality, particularly male homosexuality. A section of the media in Mauritius has also adopted this stance rather than news reporting on the subject. Church-going, Mosque-going, Temple-going and even most non-religious Mauritians are guided by high moral principles which Europeans can learn from. Mauritians should copy the good things and reject the bad. While so-called secular countries speak of the separation of the Church (religion) from the State, no one is talking about the separation of homosexuality from the State. While homosexuals are free to project their homosexuality all over the place, religious people are attacked for demonstrating and living their adherence to a particular faith.
